Parents of pre-meds: college moves quickly.

Your student may be balancing classes, independence, friends, activities, and everything that comes with college life. But medical school preparation is not something that should wait until junior year.

Most early pre-med students are told some version of the same advice:

Get good grades.
Volunteer.
Shadow.
Do research.
Find leadership.
