What this is

A focused roadmap session

$425 / 60 minutes

We review where you are now, identify the gaps, and clarify what to prioritize and how to optimize clinical exposure, service, research, leadership, shadowing, MCAT timing, and narrative development.

Best for pre-meds who are not applying this cycle.

Why this session exists

There is a lot to accomplish before you apply.

All pre-meds are working hard: taking difficult classes, volunteering, shadowing, looking for clinical experience, joining organizations, exploring research, and trying to prepare for the MCAT.

But activity alone does not build a strong medical school application.

This consultation helps you step back, evaluate where you are now, and make intentional decisions about what to prioritize next.

What happens in the session

A focused 60-minute review of your current pre-med path.

1

Before the session

You submit information about your academic background, activities, clinical exposure, service, research, leadership, shadowing, timeline, and questions.

2

During the session

We review what is strong, what may be missing, what may not be worth your time, and what should become your priority over the next semester, summer, or year.

3

After the session

You leave with a clear roadmap: what to continue, what to strengthen, what to add, and how to balance it all.

What you will leave with

This is not just a conversation. It is a strategy session.

The goal is to help you make better decisions now so you are well positioned once application season begins.

  • A clearer understanding of where you stand now
  • Your strongest application-building opportunities
  • The biggest gaps or risks to address early
  • Guidance on clinical, service, research, leadership, and shadowing choices
  • A more realistic MCAT and application timeline
  • A semester or summer priority plan
  • A better sense of how your experiences may eventually fit into your medical school narrative

Not generic advice

This is not a checklist.

This consultation is not about handing you a generic list of things every pre-med student should do.

It is a personalized review of your background, your interests, your timeline, your strengths, your gaps, and your goals.

The goal is to help you make better decisions earlier — before you are trying to fix weaknesses during application season.

How this is different

Your college advisor can be helpful. This serves a different purpose.

Your college pre-health advisor may help with:

  • Prerequisite planning
  • Committee letters
  • Institutional timelines
  • Campus-specific policies
  • General application expectations

This consultation helps with:

  • How your developing profile may read to admissions committees
  • Whether your experiences show depth, authenticity, and reflection
  • What to prioritize next based on your actual timeline
  • How clinical, service, research, and leadership choices fit into your larger narrative
  • How to build intentionally before you apply

The goal is not to replace your college advisor. The goal is to give you an individualized, physician-led strategy for the applicant you are becoming.

Common questions students bring

If you are asking these questions, this session may help.

Am I doing enough right now?
Are my activities meaningful, or am I just collecting hours?
Is my clinical exposure strong enough?
Should I keep doing this research position?
What kind of service actually matters?
When should I take the MCAT?
Do I need a gap year?
What should I prioritize this summer?
Why work with me

Physician-led advising with admissions perspective.

I am a board-certified physician, medical director, medical educator, former admissions committee member, and advisor to pre-med students.

I bring a physician’s understanding of patient care, a medical educator’s understanding of readiness, and an admissions-informed perspective on how student experiences can become part of a compelling medical school application.

This is a premium, individualized consultation — not a large-company, one-size-fits-all advising session.

Next step

Build with intention.

The earlier you understand what matters, the better choices you can make.
